Corporate Legal Database (BC, Canada)

The Time Matters corporate  records feature package  enables legal professionals to automate and maintain legal case work in the area of corporate and business law.  This program focuses primarily on BC incorporated companies and extra provincial companies pertaining to such areas as incorporation, amalgamation, continuation, dissolution, restoration and of course transition to the new act.  Built upon the powerful Time Matters® software program, the Corporate Legal Database will provide your firm with more than just a repository of company related information.  You will be using a powerful practice management system with the following capabilities (and more):

  • A powerful Corporate Database enabling you to track share allotments and transfers, director and shareholder information , and all pertinent company information.  Using this database of corporate information enables you to automate the generation of most of your corporate document requirements.  As well it provides  the required framework for efficiently utilizing the new Corporate Registry database being introduced by the BC Provincial Government. 
  • The ability to store client contact information  that can be shared company wide.
  • The ability to generate important documents, using information stored in your database
  • The ability to scan both images and documents directly into your Matter or Client Files areas.

  • Provides a powerful document management system for all of your different types of files.  Documents and different types of files can be stored by matter or client, and easily found again under these categories.

  • Provides a powerful task and todo management system.  Journals and work lists can be easily customized according to individual tastes and requirements.

  • Provides a powerful BF system, alerting you to upcoming important dates and events.

  • Provides an integrated email system with spam blocking filters, and if you like, the ability to integrate with Outlook, Groupwise, and other popular email systems.

  • Provides powerful import and export capabilities to be able to bring in existing client and matter information.  In addition, database information from the Corporate package can be exported to other programs like Excel and dbase to provide you with extended reporting capabilities.

  • Provides powerful reporting features for report generation to Adobe PDF format, or as an export function into popular Windows programs such as Word, Excel, Wordperfect, Powerpoint, etc.
