Mark has been involved in the Computer Industry
for over 20 years. He has done work for a variety of organizations,
small and large, ranging from law and accounting firms to Government ministries, Indian
Bands, and School Divisions.
Mark has been actively involved in computer
training for over 20 years and has successfully taught hundreds of classes in
various software programs in both classroom and one on one sessions.
He is a provincially certified adult trainer, who has also authored a range
of high quality training manuals for such applications as Time Matters,
Microsoft Office products and others.
Mark is a an authorized Time Matters
consultant, and most of his time is dedicated to the installation,
configuration and support of this powerful information management
program. As one of Time Matter's only Western Canada consultants, Mark works
with a wide variety of installations and companies.
Mark has experience with the following Network Operating Systems: Novell
Netware (ELS Level II up to and including Netware 6), Windows NT (3.50 up to
and including Windows 2003), PowerLan, Invisinet, Lantastic, Windows 95
Networking. His primary areas of expertise exist in the Novell and Windows
Network fields.
Internet Experience ranges from the simple installation of browsers, ftp
clients, and protocol stacks, up to network hardware and software routers for
connection of users on a network to the Internet. Mark has experience with
Network subnetting, TCPIP problem resolution, email setup, HTML programming
and company Internet integration.
Program expertise is too numerous to list. He has installed or worked with
most commercial software and a long list of vertical software applications.
Mark's extensive understanding of programs and the computers they run
on, will be a powerful asset in your quest to setup a computing environment
that works best for your company.
Mark is married with five children and currently lives in Victoria with his
family. Interests include guitar playing, sports of various kinds, family
life, and church related activities.
